What is an accelerated review?
An accelerated review is a review of variable factors which determine the level of dumping or countervailing duties that must be paid in relation to goods from a specific 'new' exporter. It provides for the early review of a dumping duty or a countervailing duty notice. An accelerated review will only review the notice(s) relating to dumping or countervailing duties, in so far as it affects the applicant exporter.
There is no application form for an accelerated review. An application must be in writing and contain:
a description of the kind of goods to which the dumping duty notice or countervailing duty notice relates; and
a statement of the basis on which the exporter considers that the particular notice is inappropriate so far as the exporter is concerned.
Decisions relating to accelerated reviews are not eligible for review by the Anti-Dumping Review Panel.
